This tutorial will give you detail information on how to use the boolProp testingCheatsEnabled cheat code.
To use the cheat open the cheat window by doing ctrl, shift, c then type boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
To turn the cheat off again open the cheat window by doing ctrl, shift, c then type boolprop testingcheatsenabled false - Important to turn off afterwards! It may ruin your game. Although I have never had problems with it and I know many other people who haven’t had problems either, so I do not know why they tell you to do that. Just remember that if you get an error while using it to ALWAYS click on RESET, NEVER click on DELETE or CANCEL! If you do that you should never have any problems with leaving it on. Besides it automatically turns off when you exit your game. Also if you don't know what something does, don't do it.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER
1. If you get error messages ONLY press Reset, DO NOT press cancel or delete
2. DO NOT invite the NPC remote control car as it isnt a character and I haven’t yet found a way to get rid of it once you got it, unless you bulldoze your house. It may sound cool but it isn’t a sim, it isn’t even a car, it just becomes an invisible member of the family and may stop your sims going to work or school. If you accidentally invite it just quit the house without saving.
3. If you get an option to Force Error then Dont click it, its just asking for trouble!
With this cheat you can get more than 8 sims in your family, you can have as many babies as you want, or can handle and you can add teenagers to your household (which normally cannot be invited) -You can add visitors to your household or create entirely new sims. You can keep adding them as well, there is no limit. Once you pass 8 however, your sim can no longer get pregnant, you can only get new babies by clicking on the Tombstone.
To add existing visitors, click on the Tombstone of Life & Death, then click Add to Family, then choose from the options which visitor you want to add. You will see that you can add anyone even teenagers and children with this option, that you wouldn’t normally be able to invite. If you want to add NPC teenagers you will need to invite them over then add them to the family
Max out your sims skills, moods, interests and aspiration meter IMPORTANT NOTE: You can either type in the cheat code in the neighbourhood view or when you are in the house. Neighbourhood view is probably easiest, but if you do it when you are in the house you will need to save, exit to neighbourhood and then go back into the house to be able to max out skills and needs You wont need any of the special objects to max out skills and needs, just the Mailbox to max out everyone’s needs.
To max out Skills left mouse click on the skill and drag the cursor across the bar
To max out Needs left mouse click on the need and drag the cursor across the bar
To Max out everyones needs, including Visitors. Shift click on the Mailbox and click on Make All Happy
To max out Personality and change Zodiac Sign left mouse click on the personality bars and drag the cursor across the bar, as the personality points change, the Zodiac Sign also changes. It can be useful to change your sims Zodiac Sign to make them more compatible with another sim that may have a conflicting signs
To max out a friendship left mouse click on the relationship bar and drag the cursor across the bar
To change Aspiration shift click on the sim, select More then select Set Aspiration... You will then see the different Aspirations NOTE, there are 2 seperate but similar options here, *Set Aspiration and Set Aspiration, make sure you get the correct one
To get Aspiration points and fulfill the Aspiration meter do CTRL then click on any one of the Wants to fulfill it. You will get the aspiration points and the aspiration meter will go up. You can also do this on the Fears for the same effect except you will lose aspiration points and put your sim into aspiration failure if you do it several times.
Invite everyone that lives in the neighbourhood to visit you
, great option for great parties (my personal favorite) If you want a lot of friends, invite the whole neighbourhood over! Shift click the Mailbox and select Invite All Neighbours. You can now choose from 3 levels of friendship, 2 are on the Mailbox and 1 is on the Tombstone
Make everyone on the property your instant friend at any of these levels, 25/25 55/55 or 90/90 relationship Shift click the Mailbox and select Make Me Know Everyone, this makes your relationship with everyone at 25/25. If you select Make Friends For Me your relationship with everyone will be 55/55 To make a higher friendship score click on the Tombstone click More then click on Make Me Friendly to Everyone Here, this will set the relationship at 90/90. Remember this only works with sims that are actually at your property, whether they are household members or visitors
Make everyone on the property fully green, even visitors -
Max out friendship/relationship with 1 sim or many sims -
Rename your sim, very useful if you accidentally end up with babies named Baby Girl or Baby Boy
Make a baby selectable so that you can see its it needs
Create entirely new (randomly generated) sim members to join your household, these can be from any age period
Add anyone at your property to your household Get Bella Goth and other interesting sims
Your sim can get instantly pregnant with anyone on the property (even some inappropriate ones) and can then speed up the pregnancy so that they give birth within 2 sim hours With the newly pregnant sim active, click on the Tombstone of Life & Death, click More then click Speed up My Pregnancy. Within a sim hour or so, your sim will have the first bump quickly followed by the second bump then birth. Sim will give birth within 2 sim hours of becoming pregnant.
Make your sim Alien pregnant Click on the Tombstone of Life & Death then click More. There are 2 pregnancy options
1 Get pregnant with
2 Make me Alien Pregnant
Get Pregnant with, allows your adult Sim to get pregnant with anyone who happens to be on the property at the time, even inappropriate sims such as close relatives and children. This works equally as well for male sims as well as female sims, although the birth cinematic for males is the same as the alien birth cinematic (even though the baby is not alien). This means that same sex couples CAN have a baby.
Make me Alien pregnant allows adult sims to have an Alien baby, even female sims.
Get your sim abducted by Aliens Shift click on the Telescope and select DEBUG Get Abducted. Your sim will then use the telescope and the abduction cinematic will start. Sims are abducted for approx 3 sim hours. Male sims will return pregnant, female sims will not (as far as I have been able to ascertain)
Force a newspaper delivery Shift click on the Mailbox and select Force Paper Delivery. The paper boy should arrive within 1 sim hour
Get any career at any level Shift click on the Newspaper and select Adult jobs (if an adult sim is active) or Teen Elder Jobs if a teenager or elder is active. Then choose from any of the careers shown.
To get to a higher level in the career. shift click on the Newspaper again and click on *Set Job Level to... Then choose which level you want. 1 is lowest 10 is highest.
Force chance card while at work Shift click on your sim then click More then click Spawn, select Chance Card Tester. This will create a large yellow box with a red arrow on it. Click on the box, select Force Chance Card then click On Each time your sim goes to work a chance card will come up.
To off the Chance Card, click on the box, select Force Chance Card then click Off
Note: There is also an option on this box to Force Outcome, you can select Success, Clear or Fail. But as my sim lost their job the first time I used this, I dont think it works.
For this section you will need the Tombstone of Life & Death and Rodneys Death Creator and MakeMe Sick Tester. To get these items, shift click on your sim then click More then click Spawn. You will then see options for the Tombstone of L and D and Rodneys Death Creator. They are both tombstones. You will also see the MakeMeSick Tester, which will spawn a yellow box
Unlock all the career awards and make them available to your sims Shift click on the Newspaper and select *Career Awards. Repeat this step selecting each career award in turn and then click on your sim career awards and all Career awards will be available to use. This only works for adult sims.
Instantly Age Transition your sim Make sure you have the correct Sim active then click on Tombstone of Life and Death and select Age Transition or Age Transition Cinematic. Elders do not have an Age Transition option, they get Death from Old Age option. To Age Transition a baby you need to make it selectable first
Choose any type of death for an already dead sim, so if you are fed up with a drowned sim's ghost leaving puddles everywhere you can change how they died Shift click on the tombstone or Urn of the dead sim, and then click on Set Death Type. This is useful if you have sim that was drowned for instance and you are fed up with the puddles that the ghost leaves everywhere.
Make your sim ill or make them immune to any illness Make sure you have the correct sim active then click on the MakeMeSick Tester and choose from the illnesses listed. There is also an option here to make your sim Immune from illnesses. The Illnesses are; Cold, Flu, Morning Sickness, Food Poisoning, Pneumonia
Kill any sim with any death (thus creating all the different coloured ghosts) To test out the Death Creator I would advise that you create a few spare sims using the Tombstone of Life and Death first. Then make one of these active and click on Rodneys Death Creator.
The Death options and Ghost Colours are
1 Die of Old Age - White
2 Death by Disease - Green
3 Death by Drowning - Blue and leaves puddles everywhere
4 Death by Electrocution - Yellow, occasional sparks seen
5 Death by Fire - Red smoking
6 Die of Starvation - Transparents, also raids the fridge removing 5 food units
7 Die of Flies - Purple
8 Die from Fright - Pink
9 Die by Satellite - Orange, leaves a piece of wreckage that is valued at about
Do NOT kill too many sims at once as the Grim Reaper file cannot cope with it and may get stuck on your lot. You can kill a lot of sims, just let the Grim Reaper leave before you kill the next one.
Dress your sim in any of the NPC clothing or Career clothing Shift click on your sim click More then click Spawn, then click Toms Clothing Tester. This will spawn a clothing rack like the ones you see on a community lot.
The options are
1 Dress like NPC - gives option to change to any NPC clothing, elders and teens/children may not have all the options
2 Work Athletic - clothes for all levels
3 Work Business - clothes for all levels
4 Work Criminal - clothes for all levels
5 Work Culinary - clothes for all levels
6 Work Law Enforcement - clothes for all levels
7 Work Medicine - clothes for all levels
8 Work Military- clothes for all levels
9 Work Slacker - clothes for all levels
10 Work Science - clothes for all levels
11 Work Politics - clothes for all levels
12 Burnt Skin
Make your sim thin or fat Shift click on your sim and select *Get Thin or *Get Fat
Get Burglar Shift click on the Mailbox and select Force Burglar
Instantly restock the fridge Shift click on the Fridge and select Restock
Instantly clean dirty kitchen and bathroom items (or make them instantly dirty) Shift click on any of the following and select *Set Dirty State, then click Clean or Ultra Clean
1 Kitchen Counters
2 Cookers
3 Sinks
4 Baths
5 Showers
6 Toilets
Rename Sim: Make the sim active by clicking on their Icon, then click on the Tombstone of Life & Death and select More then select Rename Sim
To rename Babies you first need to make them selectable. With another sim active, shift click on the baby, then click on Make Selectable. This will make the baby's icon dissapear from the list so you have to do it again, click on the baby then click Make Selectable. The baby's icon will reappear and you can now select them. Make the baby active by clicking on their icon, then click on the Tombstone of Life & Death and select More then select Rename Sim
When the baby is selectable you can see their needs, personality/zodiac sign and interests, and change them if you want to.
The cheat is not case sensitive but you must ensure you get the spelling exactly right to make it work
For these options you will need the Tombstone of Life and Death and you will also use the Mailbox
To get the Tombstone of Life and Death, shift click on an adult sim then click More then click Spawn then click Tombstone of L and D
